Return Policy for UPS delivered items

For UPS delivered accessories including folding furniture, swings, umbrellas and covers, exchanges and refunds will be allowed within 30 days of delivery. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition/packaging and accompanied by a sales receipt.

You may exchange or return UPS delivered merchandise for a full refund, less shipping charges, based on the original form of payment, within 30 days of receipt.

Refunds will be issued in like kind, with check purchases, a check will be issued within 5-7 business days of the return. Credit card refunds will be issued to the original card of purchase only. Customer will be responsible for return shipping costs, unless we made an error. All UPS delivered items can be returned to any of our store locations.

Return Policy for Outdoor Furniture delivery items

The Fortunoff Backyard Store has a 3 day pickup and refund policy. If you decide to return any delivered regular stocked item, we will issue a refund minus the original delivery charge, a 10% restocking fee and any other delivery fees to retrieve the product.

Defective products within the 3 day period will be repaired or replaced at Fortunoff Backyard Store's discretion. After the 3 day period, we will repair or replace Fortunoff Backyard Store delivered merchandise, at our own discretion, based on the manufacturer's warranty. If merchandise has a manufacturer's defect, all returns and exchanges will be first subject to the manufacturer's approval with the option to service the item. We allow one exchange for any damaged or defective item. If your purchased item has a defect, the Fortunoff Backyard Store will assist you in any manufacturer warranty issues. Assistance from the Fortunoff Backyard Store does not preclude you from seeking help directly from the manufacturer. Our assistance is to expedite the process.

Listed below are a few exceptions:

All purchases of accessories, folding furniture, gazebos, mailboxes, fireplaces, accent accessories and rug purchases carry a Fortunoff Backyard Store warranty of 30 days from the date customer takes possession. Beyond 30 days the manufacturer is responsible for any additional warranties.

Grills are subject to a 3 day delivery return policy providing they have not been used. Used grills are not returnable. Should a defect arise, grills are subject to service only under the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty.

Glass breakage is not covered by any warranty.

Acts of nature are not covered by any warranty.

Normal wear and tear is not considered a defect and is not covered by any warranty.

Manufacturer's Warranty and Exclusions

Most merchandise sold by Fortunoff Backyard Store comes with a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer for residential use. Warranty information can be provided upon request. In most cases we will act as an agent for making any warranty adjustments or processing the warranty claims. Contact any local Fortunoff Backyard Store location for information on processing your claim. Please retain your receipt to help expedite the claim process. Other than the manufacturer's warranty, Fortunoff Backyard Store makes no warranty claim of any kind concerning the merchandise express or implied.
